Nomad Fleet is similar to Homeworld, but it is NOT a clone. The best part, is each playthrough is different. There are way too many nuances to mention them here.So i'll say this: It is FUN and has a high replayability. If you want to know more ask me.. Game has insane potential. Poorly executed. Controls are slow and very limited. The tutorial does NOT teach you how to play the game, so the learning curve is much like EVE, sudden and very dissatisfying. Despite it being an inexpensive game, I want my money back. Complete waste of time.. this game is a lie... there are games that dont lie... like homeworld... and sins of a solar empire.DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Very Buggy with a terrible UI- both of which are so bad its unplayable for me. Its obvious the game was rushed and it suffers greatly because of that, which is quite sad for something with such a good premise. Your better off Playing home world- and I mean the original, because for a game that old at least it had a working UI.. Brilliant game, I love the faster pace of jumping from system to system than with games like Homeworld (especially the option to do an emergeancy jump, where you have to decide if you can afford to wait for all your fighters to land before jumping out of the way of an overwhelming threat). What limits it at the moment is simply content, it needs more factions/more types of ship to choose from (maybe more civilian/unarmed ships that provide a use but need protection) and a few more possible scenarios for each system such as finding/rescuing human colonists (although I was impressed with how many there were already). It'd also be nice to see a multiplayer version of the campaign, but I imagine that'd be quite difficult and single player now has a lot of potential.All in all a very enjoyable game that I hope you keep getting to work on!. I really like this game but there are some bugs that I seem to have like when I acclerate the game I can not move units without pressing M instead of just double clicking. Also sometimes when the game starts out I get thrown into a battle that I cannot win and lose most if not all my ships before I can retreat. I dunno if thats a bug or I just get unlucky. But yeah with a few updates and bug fixes I think it can be a good game.
